iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram and Slack

You and the crew keep texting the way you do. It's in the thread.

What it does with iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram and Slack

It lives in whichever app you already use: iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram or Slack. You text it like your best manager. The crew text it like a colleague: a photo, a voice memo, "the customer wants the hallway too". It files the photo, turns the memo into a note, prices the extra and asks the customer. In the crew group it reads along, summarizes the day, and posts tomorrow's schedule. In Slack it posts only in channels you invite it to. Customer messages go out only after you've approved the first of that kind.

Four texts you could send
  1. Every evening, post tomorrow's schedule in the crew group and flag anything unassigned.

  2. Save every photo posted here to the job's folder and add a line to the daily log.

  3. Summarize what happened in this group today.

  4. Every morning, post the admin brief in the ops channel: new inquiries, quotes waiting, unscheduled jobs, overdue invoices.

What it reads, what it writes

Refreshes
Every day, and the moment something changes where the system tells us.
Cleans
Duplicates, blanks and conflicts in what it reads, logged with before and after.
Who wins
iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram and Slack stays your system of record for what it holds. It never overwrites a record you changed by hand without telling you.

Questions

Do the crew need to install anything?
No. They text the number or add it to the group.
Which app should we use?
Whichever you already do. You can mix: you on iMessage, the crew on WhatsApp, the office in Slack.
