Google Calendar
A calendar that follows the board by itself, and a crew that knows tomorrow tonight.
What it does with Google Calendar
It connects to your Google Calendar and keeps it in step with your job board or time clock: one event per job per day, with the address, the scope and the crew, moved when the job moves. Every evening it texts each crew lead their day. Every Monday it shows the booked week and the days with an empty crew. When a visit is rescheduled it tells the crew member, and drafts the customer note if a customer promise changed.
Put every scheduled job on the crew calendar with the address and scope, and keep it in sync.
Every evening, text each crew lead their calendar for tomorrow.
Every Monday, the booked week and the days a crew has nothing.
Is anything tomorrow double-booked, unstaffed or too far apart?
What it reads, what it writes
- Refreshes
- Every day, and the moment something changes where the system tells us.
- Cleans
- Duplicates, blanks and conflicts in what it reads, logged with before and after.
- Who wins
- Google Calendar stays your system of record for what it holds. It never overwrites a record you changed by hand without telling you.
Questions
- Which way does it sync?
- The board is the boss. The calendar follows it. It tells you every time it moves something.
- Can it book customers straight onto the calendar?
- Yes, from the website chat, WhatsApp, a missed call or a rep at the door, within the slots you allow.
